Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Niddo Team ("Niddo Team", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Niddo mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Services").

The App is intended for users aged 17 and above. If you are under 17, do not use the Services.

1) What Niddo Does

Niddo helps transform your reading moments into visual stories. You can capture scenes or passages with photos, create personalized image cards, record voice notes, and customize your creations with elegant literary borders.

Some features may use AI-assisted processing to generate or enhance visual styles or layouts. You are always in control of whether you upload any content for processing.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information collected when you grant optional permissions.

2.1 Information You Provide (Account and Support)

• Account information: name, username, and email address.
• Customer support: content you submit when contacting support (for example, messages, attachments, and troubleshooting details).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device model, operating system version, language, time zone, app version, identifiers, and similar technical data.
• Usage data / analytics: interactions with the App (for example, feature usage, screens viewed, and session timing).
• Crash logs and diagnostics: crash reports, performance data, and error logs.

2.3 Location Data (Only If You Allow)

If you enable location permissions, we may collect approximate or precise location information depending on your device settings. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

2.4 Photos and Camera

The App may request access to your photos or camera so you can select images or capture new ones. By default, your creations are stored locally on your device. If you choose to use features that require server-side processing, only the content you choose to upload will be transmitted.

2.5 Face Data / Biometric Information

We do not perform face recognition, biometric identification, or create biometric templates. We do not use photos to infer sensitive traits. If an image is uploaded for one-time processing, it is processed and then deleted as described in Section 6.

2.6 Cookies and Similar Technologies (If Applicable)

If the Services include web-based components (for example, a website, embedded web views, or account pages), we may use cookies and similar technologies (including web beacons) for login, session management, and preference settings. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings where available.

3) How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

• Provide and maintain the Services, including account creation, login, and core features.
• Personalize your experience, including remembering preferences and settings.
• Improve and develop the Services, including debugging, analytics, and product improvement.
• Security and fraud prevention, including protecting accounts and investigating suspicious activity.
• Customer support and communications, including responding to requests and sending service-related notices.
• Legal compliance, including responding to lawful requests and enforcing our terms and policies.

We do not sell personal information.

4) AI-Assisted Features and Processing (If You Choose to Use Them)

Some content-generation or enhancement features may involve AI-assisted processing. When such features require server-side processing:

• Upload is optional: you decide whether to upload an image, text, or other content for processing.
• Processing on our servers: uploaded content is processed on servers controlled by Niddo Team (our own servers).
• No third-party sharing for AI processing: we do not share your uploaded content with third parties for AI processing, and we do not disclose it to third parties for advertising or marketing.
• No training/marketing use: your uploaded photos or text are not used to train models, build marketing profiles, or for targeted advertising.
• Deletion after processing: once processing is completed, the uploaded content is deleted promptly from the processing servers as described in Section 6.

5) How We Share Information

We share information only in the following limited situations, and only to the minimum extent necessary:

5.1 With Your Consent

We may share information when you direct us or provide consent (for example, exporting or sharing content using system share features).

5.2 Service Providers / Processors

We may use trusted vendors to process information on our behalf for functions such as infrastructure, security, analytics, and customer support. These vendors are contractually required to protect information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (for example, a court order or subpoena).

5.4 Protection of Rights and Safety

We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, and safety of Niddo Team, our users, or others, including to enforce agreements and investigate misuse.

6) Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

• Account data: retained for the duration of your account.
• Deletion after account closure: after you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize account-related personal information within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
• Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
• Support communications: retained for up to 6 months.
• One-time processing uploads (including AI-assisted processing, if used): deleted promptly after processing is completed.

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including:

• Encryption in transit and encryption at rest where appropriate.
• Access controls and least-privilege permissions.
• Regular security reviews/audits and monitoring.
• Backups and resilience practices.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

9) Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access your personal information.
• Correct or update your information.
• Delete your information.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).

How to exercise rights: Email us at jmjmgbfb537316@outlook.com with your request. We will respond within 5 business days where feasible and as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

10) Children / Age Restrictions

The Services are intended for users aged 17+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 17. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective Date" above when changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.

12) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Niddo Team's primary place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration as described in our dispute resolution process, except where prohibited by law.
